Adipurush, an epic mythological film based on the Hindu epic Ramayana, was released in theaters on Friday, June 16. The film is written and directed by Om Raut and produced by T-Series and Retrophiles. It features popular actors such as Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, Sunny Singh, and Devdatta Nage. Adipurush has been shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu languages.
Interestingly, a video has gone viral on Twitter, capturing a unique moment inside a theater showing Adipurush. In the video, a monkey can be seen engrossed in watching the film alongside the audience. In the background, Prabhas can be seen on the screen portraying the character of Lord Ram, while the audience chants 'Jai Shri Ram' in celebration.
Prior to the film's release, director Om Raut had requested the producers to keep a seat vacant in every theater as a mark of respect to Lord Hanuman. It seems that the video with the monkey watching Adipurush has further added to the buzz and excitement surrounding the film.
Adipurush has been highly anticipated by fans, given its grand scale and the retelling of the epic Ramayana. With its release in theaters, audiences now have the opportunity to experience this epic tale on the big screen.
